| Located in Ocala, this course is unique to scenic Florida in its abundance of rolling hills and large pine and oak trees that surround the course. The front nine is heavily tree-lined, with the back nine featuring a links-like openness. The course is well-maintained year-round, has excellent drainage, and is "female player friendly." The greens, not highly undulating, offer excellent putting surfaces. Water comes into play on holes #17 and #18. The signature hole is #18, a 414-yard, par 4, which is highlighted by two large trees fronting the green. With its expansive rolling hills and stunning tree-lined backdrop, the course has a haunting "North Carolina" feel. |
